Electric pony! If only they were as awesome in game. I never seem to follow my original plans when it comes to pictures, I was just gonna do something quick and more cartoony. But this came out instead. I don't know what happened either.

Spent a bit longer on this one, mainly because it does have some semblance of a background, yes end of the world. But it was fun, and my god, I need to stop procrastinating, time to write these darn papers! Got to make a wikipedia article on some journal article from the 90's talking about how not all things counted as bacteria in the ocean might not actually be alive. Oh well, got to do it -wanders off-

As usual, blitzle is not mine, go see nintendo

And why in the world did this take almost 2 hours to upload DA? And why do you always compress my pictures horribly o_x

I'm training my Zebstrika just for this, he has that ability too. Going to use him against Zekrom. When that Zekrom goes to use his fusion bolt move, it's not going to do anything B]
I wish I could draw that lol

Great atmosphere.
I always liked the look of thunder lighting the skies and reflecting on the clouds.

Truly enchanting.
Thank you for sharing.

how big do you work usually? like canvas size, pixels per swuare inch? and how zoomed in do you get? everything you do is ridiculously detailed and lovely @__@ OH ONE MORE QUESTION; along the same lines, what size brushes do you keep? I read somewhere that you like to use the crayon brush but are there any others you abuse??

Hah, million questions, anything else? Hah, just kidding, I don't mind at all : ). Uhh, okay lets see...

I usually start with a 8.5 x 11 inch canvas at 300 pixil/inch, though i might crop/enlarge depending on how things are going.

I actually generally don't work that zoomed in, though I probably should. I find with the detailed obsessiveness that I get into (help me x_x) if I work TOO zoomed in they just get burry or even really ugly and jagged when I zoom out to a reasonable post size. Nothing is more irritating than finding that details that looked good at 100% look hideous at 50% and having to start all over again. So i usually work around 50-75% zoom for detailing (and i usually post at 33-50%), though I sort of jump around in zoom depending on what I'm doing.

I don't keep any specific brush sizes. In sai I used to use the brush enlarge/shrink shortcut key constantly ( the [ and ] keys in sai). My new tablet has a scroll wheel that i've usually got set to do that. So I'm constantly adjusting brush size.

As for brushes, I mostly stick to the crayon tool. I'll use the water tool early on in a picture to blur colors or smooth things when I'm laying down colors or blur basic details sometimes. I also usually use the airbrush when creating glow or foggy stuff (though I usually use the crayon as well). On rare occasion i use the brush tool ( i used it to create texture on my banette smile picture) or the pen tool for sharp detail things. Really, i just sort of fiddle around to see what does the job. I'm still learning the program and figuring out how i like to use it o_o;
